This is an amazing thumbnail specimen from our mine in Mariposa California. From the famed "Monarch Vein", this piece of gold has the color, luster, crystallization, and white quartz that collectors covet the most. This is a new find from this location. Eventhough the Monarch Vein produces some of the nicest gold available anywhere, it comes in pockets so there are not many pieces available from this deposit. This is a highly collectible piece and the value of gold this rare is likely to increase over time.
