This 9.1g specimen of beautiful crystalline gold on white quartz was found at our gold mine in California by the legendary, Dan Hurd. 9.1g is the total weight including the rock. The gold is bright and lusterous and has that signature Mariposa County eye appeal. Some of the nicest specimen gold on earth comes from Mariposa and this piece is a great example. Dan found a handful of nice specimens at our mine this year and we are making them available for purchase here but each piece is one of a kind and when they are gone they are gone.
