This beautiful specimen was found by MLG Dave at our gold mine in Mariposa California on July 5th, 2025. We have nicknamed it the flame as within an hour of him finding it the mountain ignited and a wild fire ripped through the North West side of the mine as we raced down from the mountain and watched the helicopters and air tankers drop fire retardant. We want to thank the 30 plus fire fighters and all of Cal Fire that responded to save the rest of the mountain and our equipment from burning.
