This beautiful thumbnail specimen was recently found in "The Crystal Pocket" at our goldmine in Mariposa California. This is technically an alluvial piece of placer gold although it only moved about 10 feet from the "Monarch Vein" hardrock deposit. There are only a handful of pieces from this pocket available and we have nearly mined it out completely! This is a piece you will not want to pass up if you are interested in ultra rare gold specimens.
